Resume:

I have been in the sales industry most of my working career. My work background which has prepared my greatly for The Real Estate industry includes - mortgage loan officer, Moving and storage consultant, home improvement sales along with land surveying in my early 20's.

I started my Real Estate career in July of 1998. I went to work as a Mortgage loan officer in fairfax, VA originating and processing loans to learn the ins and outs of the business. I wanted to understand the different types of loans that were available, the different challenges that everyday people faced, how to overcome all the challenges of getting a loan, and everything else that was required. After all, the more I understood about the process, the better I could help people. I started in this business because I enjoy helping people, and what better way to help them than to help them achieve the American Dream.

I spent 8 years working as a loan officer for different mortgage companies, successfully helping hundreds of clients and friends fulfill their dream of owning a home or refinancing to lower the monthly payment. In 2007 the mortgage industry was taking a beating and I found myself looking for a new job. I landed a job in the home improvement business giving estimates for roofing, siding, windows, and doors. At the time I did realize that this was a great learning experience and a valuable asset to have for what I was about to do. In early 2009, I switched over to being a Real Estate Agent. I wanted to take by mortgage and home improvement experience to the neighborhood and give my clients an education on what it takes to own a home. I wanted to get out and meet people face to face, take them around and show them the different homes that were available to them and help them actually find the home they would live in for years to come.

So far I love the decision I have made. Knowing the mortgage side, home improvement side and now real estate side gives me a unique perspective on helping average people obtain the American Dream.

I treat every client with professionalism as if I was selling or buying my very own home.

Sincerely,

Joe
